Dr. Kelly Schwaner, a 2019 graduate of Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine, joined our team in August of 2022. Formerly from Ohio, she moved to Florida to be closer to family and enjoy the warmer weather. While she has a passion for all veterinary medicine, her special interests lie with dentistry, and senior and end-of-life care. Dr. Schwaner is an advocate for mental health care and is involved in the FVMA "Power of 10 Leadership Program" connecting with other veterinarians across the state. In her free time, she can be found reading a good book, exploring the great outdoors, and spending time with her husband (Nick) and two dogs (Archie and Lulu). Dr. Schwaner has already made great relationships with our wonderful clients and is very happy working with our amazing teams at both hospitals.
