Dr. Dylan Nusche

Dr. Nusche is a 2025 graduate of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, having completed his clinical year at the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. His journey into veterinary medicine began long before he donned the white coat, with his passion for animals sparked at a young age when he dressed up as a veterinarian for career day in first grade. Since then, his commitment to caring for animals has continued to grow.

Originally from Bradenton, Florida, Dr. Nusche graduated from Lakewood Ranch High School before earning his Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from Florida State University in 2020. With a lifelong love for animals, he is particularly passionate about small animal medicine, with a focus on dogs and cats. He also hopes to expand his experience working with reptiles, birds, and small mammals throughout his career.

Dr. Nusche has a special interest in soft tissue surgery and is excited to continue developing and expanding his surgical skills as he begins his veterinary career. He is passionate about providing compassionate, high-quality care while building meaningful relationships with both his patients and their families.

Outside of the hospital, Dr. Nusche enjoys riding motorcycles, fishing, and cultivating his passion for aquaculture, including both freshwater and reef aquariums. At home, he shares his life with an assortment of animals, including his two cats, Goose and Pepper; Bentley, a Golden Retriever; Storm, a German Shepherd mix; as well as a tortoise, snake, chickens, cows, koi, and several freshwater and saltwater aquariums.

His love for animals extends far beyond the clinic, and each of his pets continues to fuel his dedication to improving the lives of animals. Dr. Nusche is excited to begin the next chapter of his veterinary career, combining his knowledge, skills, compassion, and lifelong love of animals to make a positive difference in the lives of pets and their families.
